About me
Award winning Malua Bay Artist Lyn Woolridge has worked in many mediums and has twice been featured in the Australian Artist Magazine
Her paintings are an expression of her interpretation of fleeting moments of the play of light in the natural world. Living near the ocean has had a profound influence on her work. Every day the colours of the water and the sky, the sound of the waves and the smell of the salt air influence her paintings.
Initially majoring in Art at Teacher’s College, she has continued her art studies throughout her life, attending numerous art classes and workshops and retreats. She has worked in many mediums but she is best known for her pastel paintings of seascapes and rivers.
Lyn’s regularly exhibits in local and regional exhibitions and welcomes commissions. She has won over numerous Awards. Most recent awards have been:
